The first photo is just a piece sat there for convenience to hold dog's leash, mail, etc...This is a photo of main entrance. Then, there is the left and right of the front door. Inside. when you enter, double doors on R are coat closet. The L as you go into front door is 1) At the end on L is half bath. 2) At right, the doorway opens into the great room. I am positive there is a desire for sleek, high end, functional, non-trendy pieces, ideas, looks. I appreciate every one of you that adds comments.

There are really a lot of directions you can go with it. Part of the design depends on whether it needs to be functional for dropping off items or just decorative. On the decorative side, you can do a mirror or painting above, one or two lamps, and a couple/few of other items. For ideas, you can search photos on Houzz or Google by searching entryway foyer console tables.

To keep it elegant, you are going to need drawers for keys, mail, and dog's leash. MCM works with modern.

Denita! She has all pics in her ideabooks.

Denita, There are more photos, you just have to hit "more info" under the maIn photo. I had a lot of difficulties posting to design dilemmas for some reason. I hope this is what you mean. If I knew how to place all the photos on one page I would. ( I have in the past) ?? Hmm

I'm sorry. I missed the 'more info' link when looking the first time.

Denita, did you have any ideas to add?

Your foyer is relatively small-ish. I like the idea of a thin console with drawers with mirror or art above and an area rug. Similar to the concept below, but a different console - it needs legs like the one below, but drawers too.

I would not do a table across from the mirrored panel because that entryway is so skinny and there's too much wood going on with that wall panel. So I would put the table at the end of the entry way so that when you walk in that's what you see. I would put a table on that end wall with art above it and a long rug to help the entry way feel longer.

Thank you all!!
