I like it especially with the lighting!

I like that tile but It's probably a little bit busy with the granite but it isn't like "WHAT were you thinking." The colors go well so I think it is fine. It is probably a bit different that what you are use to so live with it for awhile and see how you feel about it in 6 months and then you can decide whether to keep it or do something different. My guess is that you'll keep it.

What don't you like about it? It's a little busy for my taste but you did a great job blending the tile, cabinet and granite color undertones. You have no idea how many people mess that up.

Thanks so much for your input! I think that is busy and I don’t like the wall color with it... I think I was trying too hard to be modern yet a little different and the end result is a little bold

Yes it’s a bit busy i agree but the colour choices match well. If possible, i would suggest removing just the side splash on both sides so that the tile is only on those two back walls directly under the cabinets. That part is just a bit too much. That would be a fairly minor way to modify what you have.

I think it looks nice. I would have liked it better w/the 4" piece removed, but it works. at least you didn't do white subway! however, I would not have done the side wall next to the light switch. I would have left that as plain wall.

Also, speaking of outlets, get the light gray outlets and covers and replace those white ones. the gray will blend better.

Agree with all above to remove the two side splashes. I love the tile and it blends well.

I quite like it!!! I also applaud you for not using white subway because omg enough is enough with the white subway LOL!! However I do agree that it would have looked much better without the 4” splash. But again a very pretty choice!!

I think it's a little busy and wonder if would be less so if the under-cabinet lighting were less bright (assuming the photo is accurately reflecting in-person brightness). I too would remove the section that wraps around the corner.

I like your backsplash, I think it looks nice with your cabinets and granite. I would have cut down the 4inch slab back splash part but maybe you didn't have a choice. Honestly, maybe it just takes a little time to adjust. I really like it.

What color do you think you want to paint the walls? I like the soft blue but maybe you are thinking a grey, or greige or white? Maybe live with your BS and paint for a few days and see how you feel. Sometimes it is just adjusting to a change that can take a few days to warm up to.

Turn the under cabinet lights off and the backsplash will be less bold. You will get used to it and it will be fine.
