New Japanese Maples

Even though I was determined to not getting any more maples last year, our long winter and cold spring made me rethink my promise. So I have added 16 more JM trees and 2 ginkgo now, majority of them are from Lucile Whitman at Whitman Farms. As always, she surprised me with really large plants for 1 gallon size, for $25 plus average 7$ Or less for shipping if you ship 4 plants together. She has many plants in stock which are not listed on her website. I call or email her and place the order, the plants get shipped the following Monday. Her tree packed really well. Below are some pictures from trees Lucile sent me,all one gallon size.

Ap Orange Dream:

As Kawaii, I was really surprised by the size for 1 gallon since this is a slow grower. I ordered a 2 gallon from Oriental Garden Supply for almost double the price, I came in with one single thin stick.

Mystic Mikawa. Received after fully leafed out so missed the orange color but some leaves turn orange red in sun

Japnese Princess was received in January, partially leafed out in the garage. Super cute and changing color depending upon sun exposure. This pink color is pretty long lived. This is 5 weeks after fully leafing out.

Esk Sunset sycamore maple. After seeing pictures here, I have to have one
