I stained my raised vegetable garden on the outside only with olympic elite woodland oil in mountain cedar upon further research I noticed this stain is high in VOC'S which can supposedly be dangerous if a plant absorbs them and you consume them. If I line the inside with garden safe plastic do you think I'd be ok? Would it hurt the cedar by sealing the inside at all just lining it? Note that cedar doesn't really even have to be stained I did the outside for aesthetics then learned of the dangers... now I dont want to plant any vegetables without lining it.
