Fast grower..might get darker in more light. Easy to grow and hardy to the upper 20's.

It is a Neoregelia, but it's hard to give an ID as there are so many with similar colouring. They will grow OK in the garden but won't usually tolerate direct hot sun or freezing temperatures without some protection.

When I bought it (at a nursery that usually has good labels) it was labeled as "Neoregelia Assorted".

Here are some more that I bought at the same time:

A couple of them are minatures, and they tend to branch or jump out and become somewhat stemmy. I'm going to clean this bench after the epiphyllum finish blooming by next month. I tend to leave spider webs on my bromeliads, to keep mosquitoes from breeding in them.

Yours seems to be a bit larger, and so it may grow differently. I use large neoregelia in my front yard because it is north facing and does not get excessive sun, but I also do not get frost. I run out of pots for the large neoregelia that I have, but I still have some space in my front yard. Your zone is probably too cold to have them outside all winter. Otherwise I do think it is a good landscape plant.

I live outside of Atlanta so all my broms are in pots that go out in April and come inside in October. Most of my broms are aechmeas, tillies, and billbergias. Thanks for the comments, I was just a little surprised by the name“ landscape” bromeliad. Maybe the grower wasn’t sure either. Anyway, it was a nice find at Home Depot. We don’t get many broms there this far north.
