A vertical piece of art or two or three pieces hung one over the other behind the chair in front of the wall will help pull the spaces together. For blinds I would keep it clean with a honeycomb shade that is a top-down, bottom-up design that will allow light in the room, but also privacy when you are eating. Anything too bulky will make someone sitting in the window seat feel cramped. I would also add a bench cushion to warm up the space. If you do something simple with the blinds add a pattern to the bench cushion.

Have you thought about turning your table to have the sort end using the bay for seating and the chairs on both long sides? This would give a more balanced look to the room and you would not have to swag your light (New light???). Then ditch the heavy thick green hutch in the corner and get a longer thinner buffet you can center on the wall with some art above it.

Light suggestion (only one not two):

Roman shades. I'm assuming the end chair is in the way so you cannot center the drysink on the wall?

Roman shades or something like what you have are best. I would have a cushion made for the bench seat and maybe a few pillows since the window sill is likely to hit you right in the back when sitting there. A nice piece of art you like behind the end chair.

Ok. Then assume the dry sink will be gone and table keeps current orientation Just get a wide horizontal bold art work for that wall. These aren't the right shape, but you get the idea.
