Funny you should bring up that name, it's what sprung to my mind as well when I first looked at the picture... Another shot when the flowers are open will further help in IDing the plant.

Here is my Rainforest Sunrise. It must have gotten more sun than this unknown plant, as it is more yellow.

Looks like you have a sporting eye. Can you post a pic with a ruler, beer can or pen to tell the size? 2" leaf or 10" leaf? got any pics of the spots that appear? Could it be HVX?

"Spots" on this could be mildew in the crevices, coming from aphid honeydew. Is there a tulip poplar or birch tree overhead? Or some other tree known for causing honeydew?

Ken...I live central Illinois, zone 5b...It gets the morning sun on the east side of the house along the sidewalk....as soon as the sun moves its shaded..I rarely water...just rain..mostly. If I water it is with garden hose...

DTeager..it is no where near a tree..there is a pin oak much further out...

Can you explain the appearance of the spots? Does it look like soot (gray-black)? or are there dark green blots like ink stains on the veins (HVX). Or do you mean pinholes (slug bites)? Those can make dark green spots appear.

pin holes can also indicate thrips.

Sunburn can cause spots.

A very pretty fasciated scape! Those rusty marks seem to appear predominantly in the veins - not sure if it means more than just a sunburn. One of my hostas had similar marks last summer but not in the veins. If it bothers me enough I just remove the leaf.
