It looks to me like it is just deciding what to be. Perhaps I would have not been so soon in separating it, but do you have a pic of your whole Sun Power plant? It looks to beust be one eye that cannot make up its mind. When I see those, I usually just make a note to see if it shows up next year

I had a BIG (twice the size) green eye shoot up from my June fever, and it was on the outside of the main plant so I cut it off and repotted it.

But now, realizing how big that leaf is against your hand, well, I am impressed that you were able to get that sucker separated out!!! It will eventually decide what it wants to do. Sometimes they just get unsure of themselves. That is why sports must be grown for several years to stabilize before they should be registered.

Here is the overall shot of Sun Power this morning. It is around 3-4 yrs old in this location.

Very nice! Always fun to find sports. Good you separated it. Although the current variegation pattern is not stable, as new eyes develop off the side with the greener centers I bet you have a good chance of getting a nice stable plant with green center and yellow edge. With that extra chlorophyll it may end up a little bigger than the 'Sun Power' parent.
