I'm thinking this is part of the transplant shock and establishment.

in a prefect world ... you would have planted it in dormancy .... when it did not have fruit ... or blooms ...

because it had such.. and you stressed the beegeebees out of it.. it has aborted such ... which is not uncommon ...

in tree time.. which is years.. you will get fruit ... but you have to be patient enough to deal in tree time ...

when i plant fruit ... i do not expect a crop for 3 years ... year one.. to get over transplant shock ... second year to mature the root mass ... and maybe.. if i am lucky.. success in the third year.. that is thinking in tree time ...

one thing for sure ... its stressed.. not hungry.. fert is not a reasonable response ...

Citrus trees are quite different from other fruit trees that Ken may be more familiar with so his advice may not be overly pertinent :-) Citrus will actually produce viable fruit when grown as an indoor plant and at a very young age.

There is a very active Citrus forum here that you should post in.....lots of very knowledgeable growers. And the California Gardening forum will be a good resource as well.
