Has Miss Molly given up her ghost? Z5

I purchased two Miss Molly compact butterfly bushes last year and am absolutely in love with them. Great, dense shape, covered by butterflies all summer.

So far, no sign of life. I've read somewhere that they are late to leaf out, but now I'm getting worried. Should I be more patient?

    Where are you? Zone 5 covers a large part of the US.


    Here in Indiana, zone 6a, we had a pretty rough winter. Of my two butterfly bushes, one appears dead, and the other has already started to send up new shoots (from ground level).
