I think a light silvery sage would complement the quilt and wouldn't look dated.

what else is in the room,,,can't see the dresser. instead of pulling the quilt up to the pillows, make it look nice and get some pillow shams in one of those colors on the quilt. something in a pink velvet would compliment it.

the artwork on the walls do nothing to enhance the space. there is no chair, or bench along the other wall,,,plain white mini blinds needs some sort of drapes. hang the rod higher over the window and do some sheers or something. like this pic

bring in a rug to go under the bed,,,maybe paint the wall behind the bed one of the darker colors in the quilt, leave the others white,,,,do a nice hanging light.

bring in a vintage chair, paint it pink or gold, can't see the style of the dresser, so I don't know what it is, but a 1950's walnut dresser would be a better match in here.

this dresser plays up the tones in the quilt a lot better than what you have.

I see two options. One is to go white on the walls and use other elements in the room (art, furniture, lamps) to echo the bright colors of the quilt. The other is to embrace color and choose paint that echoes one of the colors in the quilt. Maybe not quite as bright or dark as the quilt colors, but not pale or desaturated either. A midtone aqua, peachy pink, or yellow would work. Something along the lines of Benjamin Moore Traditional Yellow, Teacup Rose, or Paradiso.

You'll see white duvets, white pillows, quilt/ coverlet, and colored throw pillows. Nothing conveys a fresh clean bed than WHITE bedding. Fold your quilt as above and pull 1 or 2 colors from it for an accent pillow, and maybe bedskirt.
