Laced Artistry. If I remember correctly, I grabbed this at the very end of "free for all". The shade is soo pretty. This is the exact peachy shade I love. I am so excited to see others bloom in the coming weeks. =)

Raptor Red (it's right next to Red at Night and very similar. I should probably move it so it can shine on its own)

They are sooo pretty! I specifically did not grab a Raptor Red because I got some Red At Night. Now I feel like I am missing out (Just kidding). I still think our last Iris Swap was just wonderful. We are really lucky to have such a wonderful group.

I didn't even know there were so many gorgeous varieties. Ours are white with purple undertone and white with yellow undertone.

They are gorgeous, mmmm12. I love seeing Iris blooms in big clumps. I am hoping ours will duplicate very soon.

This is the first year I've noticed I had two different types. I always thought mine were all the same white ones. I think it is because there are so many clumping blooms of each color that it makes it obvious they are different. There is another clump in another area and they are all the white with purple undertones. We picked these up off a neighbor's driveway when they put them out with a free sign so didn't know what we were getting.

Such beautiful iris colors. It was so nice to exchange beauty for beauty last year.

I'm getting ready to till the veggie garden (it hasn't been tilled for 3 years) and there are "things" in the way! I've dug up 2 small iris clumps in bloom, but they should be OK for next year. One is darker yellow that I've had over 20 years and one is Circus Stripes, purple and white stripes. I will also be digging out a white one.

If anyone would want them, I have them in dirt and water in a bucket right now so they should be OK for a week or so. Please let me know and I'll save them.

Here is what happens when your iris are on the north side of the house and partial shade from the east. The varieties are all listed as early or mid. Looks like I might get the first bloom on Memorial Day.

What I did with most of my irises last fall was create an iris border around two sides of our backyard - loving how it's turning out with all the great plants I got from the swap!

Beautiful blooms! I dug up couple of spots last year just for the irises as well. Popmama made some nice labels for me so I remember what each one was. I am just so thankful and happy with what I got.

misty, Metaphor is light apricot colored. I've been busy getting the gardens 'untangled' from not tilling for 3 year. I'll try and remember to take a few iris pics.

I planted quite a few irises last year, many not even knowing what color they would be, and lots of them are blooming this year! I don’t have any good pics, I’ll try to get out in the next couple of days and snap some shots.

tomatoz1, that frilly white one with the purple edge is really something. Gorgeous. So unusual. Maybe "Rare Treat"?

I had one bloom today that doesn't seem to match the tag that I had with it from the swap. Will post picture shortly.

This one came from the Iris swap and the label I had for it was Morning Face but I know this is not Morning Face. Does anyone know which one this is? I'd like to give it a new label.

Also from the great Iris Swap 2017. Undersea Adventure bloomed today.

They are both very pretty! I have some that do not have buds yet. I am truly hoping they would bloom this year but it may be a bit late in the season now.

Mine are still putting out first buds, gardenchloe. 1st year ones seem to always be later in the season than in later years.

That one probably came from me, Popmama, I have a purple with that label, but if it's not correct I don't know what the real name is. Got it from Gilbert Wild several years ago.

Seems my labels faded over winter, and backup plan for counting from landmarks and writing the names down in a spreadsheet was off :( This one /should/ be either metaphor from tomatoz or fiery orange from gardenchloe, BUT it doesn't really look like either one! So don't know what it's name is, but it's pretty!!

They are pretty! I had thought irises generally prefer at least half day of sun. It looks like yours are in a shade area and are thriving!

The lack of sun is why all flowers in my back yard are about 3 weeks behind the front yard. The Iris are on the north side of the house, so the sun is totally blocked until mod-spring. They get sun all afternoon this time of year.

Tomatoz, thanks for the gold irises, they are gorgeous! I got them all in the ground and watered in, split between two beds. It's so funny because just a couple of days before you posted, I was looking at my garden and thinking, "I should plant some bright gold irises in my beds next year." Now I'll have them!

Like gardenchloe, I am so grateful for the generosity of this group. Before the hail shredded most of the iris this year, the colors were magnificent. I got so many compliments on how everyone's irises were vibrant. Now I have the colors, too.

Here are a couple of pictures of the Fierey Orange Iris I have. I think they look very similar to yours but with more of the frilly trim.

I know I got this from a swap. I think I was told this was some kind of day lily but the blooms look like iris to me. Does anyone know what this it? It's so pretty and is still putting on a couple of new buds.

It is an iris. It's a Siberian double iris. I'm not sure of the variety. It's really lovely!

This is an iris I got from someone in my neighborhood. She called it Scented Peach, but didn't have a picture of it so wasn't sure what to expect. Was surprised it bloomed so late (it did not bloom in the spring)! Smells lovely!!

That's great. I am guessing it may be a reblooming iris. I was hoping to see some blooms on mine but haven't gotten any.
