Gross!

So my sweet peas sharing the the tomato trellis finally started looking ratty. Time to pull them out. No big deal, right? I don't look very closely, go to pulling, and get a face full of aphid skeletons. The still live, plump green ones start dropping onto my flip-flopped feet. Nasty. That is the biggest swarm of aphids I've ever seen in my life. The good news is that there are lady bugs everywhere, too. I guess that is why there were so many aphid husks. I think I swallowed some. Hopefully they don't jump to the tomatoes!
