Very nice plants Jeannie. I have all my adeniums under filtered sun. They like it best in my greenhouse where is hot but not burning sun. Full sun in summer can burn the leaves. Good luck!

My greenhouse gets too hot....over 105 just today :( We are having record highs right now and have not had sufficient rain in a while. I have 2 window that stay open (one crank type and one regular) and a door that I leave open. Still too hot in some of the areas in there and I do not have enough room for all the plants I would like i there. Plus, spidermites have been on some of my smaller Adeniums, I'm sure from the Adeniums purchased off Ebay that were infested with them.

Isde and your notion are correct, Jeannie. They blanche in too much sun. Too much white, less green is not good for the plant's overall health. Plants need green chlorophyll for photosynthesis. Bright shade means outdoors. Morning sun is great because it's not scalding hot. Just don't do all day, direct sunlight. I love the variegated leaves on your plants. They should do well where they are now and will be stunning once they bloom.

My beautiful variegated plant almost died when I moved it ... I was worried about it being so white. It went completely green then rotted at the roots. I don't know why. Fortunately, it survived cutting off half the caudex as a seedling. It was painfully slow going and I almost tossed it a few times, but it now has 4 leaves. It's staying where it is! This was the seedling ... It's still the same size a year later:
