question about bloomstruck

Hi all,
I just planted two new bloomstruck hydrangea plants...I noticed buds forming...Place where I bought them from said cut blooms off so plant gets bushy...
So should I wait until these plants get flowers then cut the blooms off? Or just cut off while in bud formation? Thanks
