The last one's name is Paeonia Suffruticosa Kinkau / Souvenir de Maxime Cornu. These are rare Japanese variety and expensive. They grow to 4 feet in height. The stems are thin and fragile. I already broke two of the buds this year. They are about 20 years old.

The yellow and white ones are over 25 years old. The two red ones are over 15 years old and are 4 feet tall. The pink one is 10 years old. I have couple of pink. orange and purple ones but they died over the years.

Sorry there are no seeds for the Kinkau. Each year after flowering they just died off and no seed pods. You can mail order in the states.

Peonies are not like many flowers where if you plant the seed the baby will be the same as the parent. Peony seed will produce a totally new plant that seldom looks like the parent.

They are beautiful for sure. Do you know who the yellow one is? In the third picture, do you have something that looks like a wisteria in a pot in the right corner of the photo?

I don't remember the name of the yellow one, may be is called High Noon Hai Huang . You got good eyes, that is a wisteria. Check out this link:

How long do they bloom for? And how long flowers last on trees? Thinking about getting one

It depends on the weather. I am located in the pacific northwest. It depends on the varies species. They started to bloom from the end of April to the end of May and some till June. The flowers on the trees last for about two to three weeks. Again it depends on the species. Some last longer than the others.

i have so many regular peonies, I wanted to see what the Peoni trees looked like. Of course I have no flowers yet. You said you live northwest, any special wintering protection? I live near Toronto Canada.

And do you need to stake all the new flowering branches?
