Bad idea close by to the front door

It's hard to find really colorful planting bed flowers that like full sun and can thrive in the intense heat of our summers. These last few years I've planted Sunpatiens, a variety of Impatiens, around the front porch. Does this increase my chances of spreading INVS indoors to my violets?
