During the winter I kept my 360 degree worm factory in a shed with a temperature no lower than 34 degrees. I have 3 trays and fed one tray and let the other 3 set until a week ago. I place a shop over the factory and moved the top, uncompleted tray to the bottom and over a 3 day period harvested the castings in the other two trays. I now have 3 gallons of excellent worm castings. I placed an empty tray on top and got it started with about a gallon of kitchen scraps.
