Are you in a climate zone in which Figs thrive in ground without winter protection?

That brown turkey fig you have maybe be mislabeled. I believe colosanti only has two types of figs a white and a red. I have both and they are both good. The white being one of my favorites.

Thanks for letting me know because it would be nice having something not so common. We'll know soon enough, it's in the ground growing fast. This way it'll produce until December. Are they called just white fig? red fig? I would like to know what zone they are hardy to??

How late does your greenhouse keep your plants from going dormant?

If there are no figlets yet, you are looking at about the end of October before any could ripen at the earliest.

They will go dormant around early-mid December

Fig have started to form. After being topped twice, it probably grew 9 feet so far and there's still lots of time left.

Have you gotten any ripe figs as yet? I bought a Chicago Hardy a couple weeks ago that's been slow to grow for some reason.
