Barker Modern Cabinets

I'm doing a kitchen renovation and 2 bathroom remodels. I like a modern style and I'm handy so would prefer to complete the design work and cabinet install myself. I came across Barker Modern Cabinets (a spin off from Barker Cabinets) and thought it could be a good option for me.

Problem is, I'm having trouble finding reviews on Barker Modern Cabinets as well as pictures of finished products. Even the photos in the gallery on their website seem to be renderings.

Has anyone used Barker Modern before? What was your experience? Would you recommend?

Cabinet materials I'm looking at:

Kitchen: Glossy White + Oregon Pine

Bathroom 1 vanity: Glossy White

Bathroom 2 vanity: Glossy Light Grey OR City Oak OR Miele

I am late to this post but wanted to give feedback. We used BarkerDoors for a remodel and were thoroughly pleased. The workmanship and quality of the doors were superb, as was their customer service. Remodeling using our existing cabinets and replacing the doors saved us thousands. We are now undertaking another project and are considering BarkerModern. In plotting out the design, we had a question about a cabinet which they promptly answered. We will definitely use Barker again, we just need to decide on a style but are certain they will provide a quality product either way.

Hi We are looking at the same thing (same colors as well - lol), did you ever end up doing the project using Barker?

I have been to their show room in Tualatin Oregon and I think they are a high quality product. I admit that I have not read any customer reviews. It could be that their ready to assemble cabinet system is frustrating for retail customers.

@Martha Supernor when you refaced the door, did you go with barker? If so, did they custom size the door for you? We have a fairly new kitchen -> 5 years old and it is ultracraft cabinets. We would like to reuse the cabinets if possible and update the drawers fronts and doors

Yes, when remodeled our prior house 5 years ago we also reused our existing custom cabinets so all the doors and drawer fronts were custom sized - BarkerDoors met the challenge. In our current remodel (new house) we decided to go with new cabinets due to a completely new layout. Based on our prior experience with BarkerDoors we chose to go with BarkerCabinets. They make any size cabinet you need. Delivery took a little longer than initially quoted on our current project but overall we are very pleased - then and now.

I've used them for 3 kitchens, and am about to use them for a whole house I am building. Haven't used the Modern line yet, but plan to for the laundry this time. The cabinets are very high quality. my contractors said better than they were seeing go into the $5m houses in the area. We had a few little things wrong, but they were very responsive about any issues, and sent new parts as need, even all the way to Hawaii.
