It could also be fireblight, Goldrush is susceptible to it, though wine crisp should have resistance to it. Could be canker as well.

if it is canker, you can treat as below. Fireblight, there isn't a cure, you have to prune it out and destroy the infected branches and leaves. This one might be a tree to send back on warranty.

Dissolve 1 pound of hydrated lime with 1 gallon of warm water in an airtight, sealable plastic container by mixing with a plastic stirrer. Allow the hydrated lime to stand for two hours.

Combine 1 pound of copper sulfate with 1 gallon of warm water in an airtight, sealable plastic container using a plastic stirrer two hours after mixing the lime.

Pour 2 gallons of cool water in an airtight, sealable plastic container and set aside. Secure the lids on the containers of hydrated lime and copper sulfate and shake them for one minute each.

Measure and pour 1 quart of copper sulfate and 1 quart of hydrated lime in the cool water using a high-volume measuring cup and stir. Pour the Bordeaux mixture in a backpack sprayer or pump sprayer and shake well.

Spray the entirety of the apple trees at the first signs of European canker. If your apple trees show severe instances of European canker, spray a second time after leaf drop.
