I'm about 95% sure my Fernwood is about to flower. I got the plant about 3-years ago and if flowered that summer, skipped flowering last summer and is flowering now.

About 2-months ago, I repotted this plant because it threw off a shoot, more like a branch, that is too heavy to support itself. That shoot grew a foot over winter, the plant is 44-inches tall from the soil and I cut the tips of the blades to keep it from growing any longer.

Not sure if it is a happy flower or a distress flower, since it flowered shortly after both times I repotted the plant!

After it flowers, this summer or next, I'm wondering if I will need to cut the "branch" and try to root it?

It's planted in turface, but the root ball has some Al's 1:1:1 Gritty Mix (I potted up this spring rather than actually re-potting).
