GREAT color..so cheerful..your hostas are growing fast..

Everything is growing fast. We have extremely warm spring, whole May has been 18-27 celsius and no rain at all. It's not really Finnish spring, I think we have stolen someone elses warm spring. I had to even water my Thujas, which I don't usually water. And next 10 days are going to be very warm. Last year at this time I had only few pips. In some beds hostas are still under ground or pips, but I bet they come soon to enjoy warm weather. Just have to water everything.

The yellows, as they emerge in the spring, are truly remarkable. Yours look great!

When I started to buy hostas, I didn't like yellow ones. Now I love them and need more, LOL

In my case it may be because I have a lot of sun and a lot of them really seem to tolerate and thrive in that.

I love them too! I didn't see the point at first. Then I started to buy a lot of blues. I added one yellow for contrast, and wow! Now I can't get enough of them. Finding ones that stay yellow later in the season has been challenging, though.

Love yellows! Last year have created entire Gold Coast... Now just have a bit more sun there.

It is so good to hear that you have such a nice spring. I'm sure you enjoy it and watch your wonderful hosta grow every day :-) It is funny how we change when collecting hosta...I only bought blue ones in my first year but after more than five years of planting hosta I love everything! But the yellow were extremely nice this year as if to make excuses for being 4 weeks late...Having 3 of yours I can say that you will have much fun with them, they are also beautiful later in the year...

I didn't like the yellow hostas at first but now I have bought a bunch--can't wait until I get them and plant them next to some blues (my original favorite color).

Had some free oldies from friends at start. Then bought some and I wanted margin variagated (didn't quite know how many different hostas there is), 2nd year blue and green ones, 3. year bumby ones and now yellows. Wondering what next year, LOL.

I love your yellows, too! They are all great, but Chiquita really caught my eye. I hadn't heard of it, so I looked it up in the Hosta Library...and was very surprised to see that it was released in 1979! Makes me wonder if Ken has a mature specimen on his property.
