Tomato Tone I think is the brand name, but don't forget that a good drink of Epsom Salt water helps them also!

I sometimes use Espoma Tomato-Tone, Fish Emulsion, Liquid Seaweed or Neptune's Harvest. Sometimes I use Dynamite Mater Magic, which is an organic granular fertilizer you can use to side-dress the tomatoes. Mostly I just try to add tons and tons of compost to the soil before planting, and that's when I add the Tomato-Tone too. Throughout the season, I'll feed them occasionally if I think they need a boost (which they often do if carrying a heavy load of fruit) but I prefer to mostly feed the soil before planting and let the soil feed the plants. Some years I don't feed the plants at all after they're planted (though perhaps I should).

In my containers, I use Mater Magic or Tomato Tone at planting, with the compost, then plain blue Miracle Gro during the season. Sometimes the MG tomato formula. Thanks for reminding me it's time to feed.
