since those look like dixie cups, you could go up to the 'solo' cup size. put holes in the bottom of the cup for drainage. I double cup mine, with holes in the bottom of the inner cup. I use gritty mix - a mixture of napa floor dry (part no. 8822) and no.2 cherrystone, or chicken grit. I also throw just a tiny handful of soil in the mix. After a rain, I just drain the outer cup. They look quite nice for here in the upper midwest!

I cut the longest branch (from the middle) down to be as short as the others on my yearlings. It's been a couple of months and they are definitely growing more branches and fat caudexes now. It seems to fatten them up nicely. You don't have to hang them when pruning branches. I just dab cuts with cinnamon and don't pour water on the cut. Give them plenty of water at this stage (make sure soil is well drained)

Thank you! It sounds like I've been over thinking it! I've been keeping them nice and warm all winter. I think those were started in Oct. I have about 70 more I haven't brought outside yet. This is my first experience with adenium. I got a little carried away planting seeds though!

Welcome to the fold, you are becoming a true addict. Where did you get your seeds? When they take over the spare bedroom and you get grief from the rest of the family … well, I will share your pain. Especially when they come back to visit.

What do you mean I have to spend the night in the botanical center?

These I ordered from orient adenium. The rest are from Mr. Ko's site. From reading here it looked like they were good sellers.

I may already have a spare bedroom dedicated to an assortment of plants haha!
