pin this post I would like to share with you my garden beds. When we purchased this house 2013 there was absolutely no landscaping done ... he house was build in 1968

we are adding this year a patio. 2 years ago I started to clear out brush that grew big and wild from the backyard almost to the house. My husband cut some trees out but unfortunately I can't cut and remove what I would like to have done. Last year I was able to save several Hostas from lots where the small houses got torn down for big ones. I started a bed underneath trees and along my property line. Hubby build a little hill because we got a lot of water run off from the neighbor, I think it looks a lot better with the white and green Hostas even though they arent my favorite, plus they where all free :-)

This stretches all the way to the front of my house along the driveway.

Front yard - the typical boxwood hedge planted 2013 and backlined with golden tiara. We got this plant gifted and I didn't know the verity than and how tall it grows. Unfortunately you can only see the plant when walking right along the path.

Rock garden next to the garage. It was planted 2015

all Hostas where tossed in the ditch by my neighbor who downsized her garden. I dont know the variety but I think I found out, the big one in the back must be Sagae.
