Can you provide a photo taken further back? Are there any galleries in your area?

I can in a bit- just left home to go shopping. I’m sure there are- I usually just frequent cheaper places like Kirkland’s, TjMaxx etc..

thank you!

You just need one larger (something) to hang on one of the walls, you could put those 2 pics together as well.

When you say "what is missing", what you're really asking is "why doesn't this look good". And the reason it doesn't look good is not because of your blank walls, it's because your couch is backed into the corner. Move your couch into the room away from the walls, then decide what to put on the walls based on which direction your couch is now facing. Maybe it will be a book case of some kind. Maybe a console table with lamps. Maybe it will be a hanging TV. Maybe it will be art work. We don't know and can't offer any other advice because we can't see the rest of the room.

A larger painting on one side, with the other wall blank may help also. Eyes are attracted to odd numbers so do not feel like you have to fill both walls. Also a longer floating shelf on one side with a variety of décor opposite of a photo would look nice also.

DK Hass- I love those paintings- thanks for sharing.

Cpaul1- unfortunately my living room is very small and that’s the only wall my couch can go on without being in the walkway to the front door or kitchen. I understand what you’re saying though so thank you!

Maybe some shelving?
