Not at all organic!! And you are referring to Bug Geta Plus....the old Bug Geta has the same label.

Since such a fuss has been made about the toxicity of metaldehyde to kids, pets and other wildlife, they have done some label "modification" and it now reads "active ingredients, sulfur, with slug and snail bait additives". (btw, you've got that backwards - it is 1% sulfur, 99% other ingredients). It is the additives/other ingredients that you need to be concerned about - very probably still the metaldehyde and carbaryl that was in the old formulation.

And it cannot be considered organic or safe for organic gardening unless labeled as such and with OMRI designation.

Also label says "can be used around pets and wildlife"......not that it is 'safe'!!

Thanks I already spread some in a few areas thankfully not too much though. I have an outdoor cat so I wonder if there's anything I should do maybe cover with some mulch or grass clippings. What's a good organic solution I only need to protect my seedlings until they get larger, usually by mid to late June I'm done with worrying about slugs unless we get into a prolonged rain period.
