I would try it out for size..at least you can see what will work there..if that gives good extra light and fits in the tight space..why not just paint it gold..

I really like the CynthiaRowley coverlet better than any others suggested. It’s just that the bedskirt is too flimsy and the color is off. Look at Ballard Design website for several that come in cream. They are having a sale now, and I also saw a pop up window for a greater percentage off for first time orders.

Stacey..just found this bedskirt..easyfit just has elastic that goes around box spring gets 5 Stars in reviews....love the Pom Pom trim...super cute..

Annettea..love that box corner bedskirt..but it doesn’t come in white..the neutral might look nice with white spread....the Twin is $50 might be more than Stacey wants to spend? But it is a great looking skirt!

Annettea and Stacey, I love that boxed bedskirt, too. Know you were wanting to keep the room light , so not sure you would choose the indigo, but with its contrasting white Pom poms , I think that would also look very nice - especially with the blue blanket , pillow and art. With the white coverlet it would still be a nice and light feel in the room. I also really like the natural . I think it might even be better to have a little contrast , since you have gone to using a coverlet with a bed skirt. That way they wouldn’t just bleed into each other.

Oh how disappointing on coverlet-- easy to miss checking /verifying dimensions with online ordering. If going with dust ruffle- I would recommend chambray or denim over white for contrast and a bit more gender neutral decor.

Ok, I'm a little confused. Are you suggesting keeping the coverlet and using the pom pom skirt? Or keeping the bedspread and using the skirt? I do like the pom poms :)

I think you could switch to a smaller quilt and use the pom pom skirt with it. The twin size I linked to is only 90" long, which would work well with the skirt.
