Shade removable?

What is the composition of the shade and also, is it removable? How is it attached?

The shade is a silken White parchment shade - also available in silken black Tuxedo. There is a loop attached to the shade that fits over the base socket of the bulb and holds the shade in place. To remove just take out the bulb and the washers and the shade will release.
