correct, its not the bricks its the mint green siding. strange shutters and lack of landscape.

What is on the other 3 sides of the house? Brick or green siding or something else? Also, what color is your roof?

I googled "pale green house exterior" and got some nice looking homes. They mainly use black and white as accent colors.

If your front brick is the only brick on the house, it's much less work to paint or stain it, instead of painting all the siding. Unless it's wood siding that needs repainting anyway. Even if the brick needs repainting after a few years, it's only a small area.

If the brick goes all the way around, then I'd consider leaving the brick and painting the siding.

agreeing that the green is the bit out of step, with or without bricks. you'll move your home further along by dealing with the mint.

Minty toothpaste green generally only looks good on a bungalow or Victorian, along with a large dose of white and other colors to mellow it out.

Your house is not a house for sickly toothpaste green, brick or no brick.

Don't paint the brick; paint the siding something not pale green -- preferably a tan or light brown color.

perhaps with a lattice privacy barrier or at least a "green" wall -- shrubs for privacy.

Is your siding a maintenance-free material, or is it wood that will need to be painted anyway? The green in your second picture is a little darker than the first picture. I like the color actually.

Do you actually sit on those chairs (is there a little patio?) or would you landscape that side of the house?

I'd paint the bricks a light gray-beige (pale "stone" color), then landscaping.

That bench is an old thing that a dear friend made before passing. The siding is maintenance free, just hose it down. There are shrubs on the left side of the pic.

I would paint the brick the darkest color in the roof. (I removed your tree just to show the roof color.) I would also remove the shutters. Instead of the chairs shown, I would keep your existing bench. Possibly use a white or grey Behr stain on it.

The addition of some shrubs would increase your curb appeal a lot. You can easily still incorporate the bench.

Keep the bench -- good memories of dear friends are important.

Would not paint the brick. If the color isn't to your liking, consider planting a hedge on that side of the house instead.

Siding isn't ugly -- color wouldn't have been my choice, but if it doesn't need to be replaced or repainted, leave it.

Something you might consider is wrapping the porch around the corner over the two left windows and set your wood loveseat beneath the window and under the shelter of the extended porch roof.

I really think the green is amiss but why even bother to paint brick. All you have to do is plant some nice shrubs and hide the dang bricks.
