My husband and I remodeled our 80’s kitchen a few years a ago. This year it was our master bath. I love soaking in the tub, so finding the right tub for me was very important. I absolutely love my new tub. Special ordered from Hydro Systems. My husband even added a tankless hot water heater just for the tub, so I never run out of hot water! I knew I wanted a barn door , but I am not overly rustic. I knew what I wanted, so we ordered the door with frosted glass and I painted it very white like the tub. White quartz for the vanity and ledges, and Carerra marble for the floor and shower. We added a glass vertical stripe for another focal point in the shower. Shiplap behind the tub painted the same color as the walls. There is indirect lighting at the ceiling, behind the tub and under the vanity. So pretty and relaxing. I’m not really one style. A mixture of contemporary, modern and farmhouse for warmth. I am very pleased with how it turned out, and also very lucky to be married to a man that is an Electrical Engineer, but can literally do anything. It took us a few months to complete, but saved us so much money in the long run.
