Any suggestions on what to do with this wall and/or top of bookshelves? I moved in only recently, so things are kind of hodge podge. I'd like to get something different for the TV to sit on eventually. I like coastal style, and the place could use brightening up as it's pretty dark inside. I also feel like there are too many angles and it needs softening.. Here's a photo:
