But, I had these Giant Pumpkin seeds they came five in a package and still it said to plant four of them at once. It was like crazy. I only planted two together, and then last one alone. I think planting them together made them too crowded. I don't want have to kill some of them, because they got all interlaced and pulling out one at that point would have killed the other one. But, if I had a lot of seeds, then I could see the point in doing it as insurance. I thought it made the plant grow better not to be alone?
