here's a twist. picked up an old stihl blower the other day, bought it because i haven't seen this particular model and the price was right. dropped some gas through the carb and it fired. disassembled it and noticed the fuel line was broke off the tank. no inside line just a nipple to plug a line on (convenient). ended up having to take the carb off, this is where it gets goofy. carb is a "teikei", japan. looking up the carb kit i find out the this blower has a komastu engine, on a stihl? i like it more now! i'm a big fan of the old redmax.
