I’d like to get a bookcase to put on this empty bedroom wall.

The dressers in the room are from Room & Board, the Calvin collection, in mocha wood. The room is all neutrals - dark brown wood furniture, with light beige and gray bedding and walls.

What type of bookcase, and in what finish, do you think would look best here? Maybe something open, like a ladder or step bookcase? Or a more traditional closed-sided bookcase, with clean modern lines?
