This small tree has little white flowers. I just cleared out all the suckers, that were shrouding the trunks. Whoever planted it, surrounded it with about 3 ft. of landscape fabric , which makes root pruning the suckers very difficult. I think it may be some type of serviceberry or something. I'm going to rip out all the fabric, and add lots of organic matter. When I see the robins hunting for worms, I'll know job well done. The leaves are alternate. The fruits look like blueberries, but they don,t have any tartness to them.
