I have seen some Astilbe with red-tinted leaves in the last couple of years, so those might fit if you have moist shade, but I don’t remember the specific cultivar names.

Are there any more petite Cimicifuga/Actea? I don’t dine that the plants themselves at very tall, just the flower spikes for a short time in early fall.
