Door revamp....kickplate??

Hi! I have just painted front door and am wondering if a brushed nickel kickplate would look good here or if that’s a bit much for this simple door/house? Kids and husband push open the door with their feet ha ha!

    Nice improvement from the original tan/brown! Did you check 'doors with kickplates' on google images? Lots of idea spurs. Seems like, some coordinating hardware (address numbers or door knocker) in the same finish help tie the look together.
