Rose Creek Abelia

Has anyone had experience with this plant?

I purchased three from Lowe's in the past weeks. They are very healthy and they remind me of some abelias that I had in the past. I purchased those after reading in one of these forums about how hummingbirds were swarming to them. The ones I purchased did not get much hummingbird action that I noticed, but they did get a lot of attention from the butterflies, especially swallowtails. As I remember, they bloomed for about a month sometime in the summer months and they were very fragrant. They grew to be about seven feet tall and perhaps four feet wide.

From what I've read the rose creek abelias only get to about four feet tall and wide, so I might not have the same plants. According to the tag attached to the plant, they are supposed to be excellent butterfly attractors and very fragrant, so I am hopeful.
