Nev, your baby is beautiful!! The color is so rich and vibrant. I really don't care for washed-out broms. I like the yellow speckles, too. I don't see too many orangey-red neos... very, very nice!

I can't wait to see more!

I tried my hand at pollinating some neos last week... waiting to see if I get seeds. I have some Morados that self-pollinate... so I have some seeds with which to play if my crosses don't take.

Carol - You say above, you have some Morados that self-pollinated. Firstly it's possible it hasn't self pollinated, and pollination may have been done by insects or small birds.

In any case it's doubtful if the seed will produce any worthwhile plants because usually (and I say usually because there are always exceptions), however it's generally accepted that those seeds will produce mostly "albino" seedlings which will die in a few weeks after germinating due to lack of chlorophyll.

This is pretty common with plants where the seed parent is albo-marginated (has white leaf margins) like Neo. 'Morado' has. There maybe a few seedlings that are green but it's very unlikely there will be any variegated or albo-marginated ones like the Neo. 'Morado' seed parent.
