What to do with Sansevieria

Hi all,

I got this sansevieria about 9 months ago. Some of it's leaves are droopy and I believe that is because of overwatering, so I have been better about that.

What should I do with the leaves, though? Stake them, cut them off or just leave them?

Also, some of it's leaves are really thin at the bottom, which means they aren't getting enough light.

Should I separate it in two pots, or maybe get a rectangular one and spread it out. Also, I could perhaps put it under a lamp for supplementary light, maybe.

What do you think is best? I have some photos from when I first got it and what it looks like today.
