Thanks. It's more about the rug being shag than the size. I literally have not seen a single solid rug that isn't shag on Amazon.

Tribeca, Natural, and Gabbeh solids at esalerugs are not shag. Did you see those?

I agree with Lindsey - your best option is to speak with a reputable local carpet company and let them know what you want. As a designer, I have had the very same problem - sometimes you just don't need a shag but need a well-made, solid textured rug to compliment a busy design. And ask your local carpet people - they frequently have remnant pieces cut from larger jobs that are very reasonably priced - don't be afraid of those, just be sure to inspect. You will have endless choices but pay special attention to the composition of the rug considering the amount of traffic and wear patterns it will need to service. Also, ask them to describe the way you will finish the rug...you won't like a bound edge that screams "I'm really a piece of carpet". Right?
