Design Dilemma Paint Home Decorating

BM Thunder paint combinations

The dining room in our new home is painted this gorgeous color but the rest of the house is just builder's grade creamy white. We want to warm it up with something else. What other colors do you recommend? We're getting a dark grey couch for the living room and thinking about burnt orange accents. I also like the teal that's currently there... I don't want to go too grey or blue.

I have used thunder in a large sunroom. Beautiful color, but it changes drastically with the natural light (which we wanted). Your dining room walls will stay true, as I see no windows.

On to a coordinate…B.M. Silver Half Dollar.

You mentioned a gray sofa. If it is not on order, consider choosing fabric close to Thunder instead. A picture is worth….

That's gorgeous! thank you for sharing. Unfortunately the sofa is already on order and it's more of a charcoal grey.

Dark gray will look fine, as well, with silver half dollar. Tie in the Thunder with fabrics in the living room.

I love the builders creamy white colour in your house prior to you wanting to change it. Can you please share that colour with me?
