You could take a cutting from it and root the cutting. If you do decided to do that take 3 or so in case some fail. Rose cuttings are fairly easy to root, I have done it a hand full of times just from watching Youtube videos on how to do it.

take a cutting with green growth that has already had a bloom on it. You can take harder wood cuttings, but the success rate drops the harder the wood is. Also don't take super new growth because it can be too soft and your chances of success also drop. take a cutting with at least three sets of leaves. They explain really well on some videos and show you what is an ideal cutting.

I don't know what it is. That's part of my problem. The larger and smaller picture are from the same bush.
