11' X 23' bedroom layout help please

There is the floor plan on my master bedroom. The only thing that is off is the 2' 6" door which is the main door to get into the room opens into the room but just the other way. The two other doors are closets. Then there's also a fireplace and 5 windows. I have a king size bed so it will only fit on the long walls. The room is 11' 2" by 22' 11". So long and with the fireplaces, 3 doors and 5 windows I'm clueless.

This is a very awkward layout, especially with a King sized bed (which is going to be at least about 6' wide)

Do you REALLY need both closets?

Because my suggestion is to close off the closet in the upper left corner of your image entirely and put the back of your bed along that wall. You will have to move the bed quite close to the window side to leave clearance at the entry, so likely no nightstand will fit over there.

What does the master bedroom "open into"? Because while I don't like pocket doors or barn doors on bedrooms, if there is enough privacy otherwise this might be a room where it needs one. It will a bit awkward coming in that room, even with the door swing the other way. If you can move the master bedroom door, that would be even better.

Thanks for your reply but yes I need both closets. I wouldn't want to put the bed in front of either of them. But yes I agree very odd layout is right

by the way to ceiling height is 9 foot

Besides the bed and nightstands, what other furniture do you want in the room? The easiest solution I see would be to have the bed in the 12'8" space between the door and closet (if you don't mind it not being centered to the windows), maybe a vanity or dresser on the wall opposite between the windows or on the wall with the second closet even.

As much as I detest angled beds, this is what I would do with this space...

I would angle the bed toward the fireplace like this (as close to the fireplace as is safe)

Get an antique looking wrought iron bed so that it's as open as possible and behind the bed I would have a small sitting area. Decorate it in a shabby chic style...

Chandelier optional but fabulous imho :)

It would be very romantic and cosy..

We have a similar room and one of the things we are considering is a floor to ceiling or partial wall or something (?) screen like across the room. I didn’t do the math, but In your room such a wall might be centered between the closets and have space to pass thru and allow the closet doors to open on the closet side. The bed would back up against that wall and face the fireplace, rather than being angled/floating. Once you start thinking wall there are many options. I’m going tape up a sheet or other faux wall and see how it feels and check out variations when I get around to it.
