I added my guest bed cover and it looks good with the red chair. I just hung the pictures up above the bed. Will they work in that area? Do I need any more in this room picture wise? I would like to get a subtle rug under the bed

remove the clock over the door and get a small bedside clock. The pillow on the bed looks a little dark, do you have any other options.

I would add a bit more red in your throw pillows instead of the one you have now. That way it ties the chair in with the bedding. Add in one more red piece on the dresser. This way you have red throughout the room. Make it a red that is close to the red in the chair and not some bright red.

ETA: I like your bedding and the chair :) The room is coming along nicely.

Marlene, I don't have any advice beyond what's already been given. I just want to point out that this seems to be another impulse buy that you've gotten home and now don't know what to do with. Now, this is better than my friend who has had four impulse marriages which were harder to return and didn't even get store credit when she did, but still it's good to recognize your patterns.

Next time you fall in love with a piece of furniture, try a longer engagement to see if it's just infatuation or true love.

and took it home to find a place to put it. Have learned over the years to think about it a little more, and if it's still there when I go back, great, If it's gone, it wasn't meant to be.

FYI- I purchased the red chair over a year ago and it has been in my guest bedroom since then. The bedspread/comforter is my old duvet from about 4 years ago that I saved and now put in there. I was just asking for suggestions not criticism on my purchases so perhaps you can just take me off your response as I feel that was a rude response to my question
