Thank-you for taking the time to respond Sophie. Of the options you showed here I think I would lean toward the first two. However, I find these colours more on the cool side of the colour spectrum and I tend to prefer more historical or soft warm colours and perhaps more neutral. I do live in a coastal area, but am not at all tied to a coastal theme. I really love the modern farmhouse look, simple but striking, but don't want an all white house. Please keep the ideas flowing!

Whatever you do...avoid the "color of the year", or anything like it.

Neutrals and earth colors have staying power, and don't grow old.

I would love a professional opinion on this colour scheme. Add in black doors. Also if I go with this colour scheme, what colour should the soffits in porch area and porch floor be? Can I bring in the warmth of wood on both the soffits and the floor? Other than the covered areas, the rest of the soffits will be white.

Earthy greens are always good. Or rusty reds.

Benjamin Moore Nantucket Gray would be a great color for your house. The color chip doesn't do it justice. It is a green-gray.
