I just got a quote for hunter douglas shades for my daughters room. Three window shades for $1700 (Duette, or Applause for $1200). That seems astronomical; since we are essentially replacing the opaque ones we have now for blackout ones. Can someone assist? What can we do, and will look nice, to make three windows in her room blackout (they also need to be usable). They all three look like this now. Two of which are over a window bench seat, so there is not a lot of room for window curtains.
