The large shrubs that you have in front of the posts nearest the door are too large for that area. You should keep plants smaller so they don’t block the view of the front door and entry. I didn’t look up mature sizes of the plants you chose, you need to make a birds eye view drawing and lay out the plants based on their mature size to make sure they won’t outgrow the space you are allowing for them.

The direction you want to go seems too cluttered and smothered to me. Too many things cover each other and everything vying for attention. Fewer but clean simple shapes will say more in the long run. I wouldn't put a small tree so close and in front of the main entrance. Moving it farther out, into and island near the drive is better.

Widen the porch steps and expand the landing at their base.
